My war hero

He has gone to war. He is coming back in September, but I will be in school. I want to miss school to see him, but I am going to school 3 states away from our hometown. I miss him so bad. He frequently sends pictures and writes me letters, which I will keep forever. I just don't understand why he is at war. Can't they just box over it? Do innocent boys have to die at war, it's just not right. He's 18. That is way too young to die at war. I don't want him to die, and I am not saying he will, but three of his close friends have died in car bombings in Iraq. Come home...
